Swatch: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick - Scorpio

Before I start, yes yes I know about the whole Jeffree Star scandal that exploded recently. I have chosen to stay away from his brand before, because I can't really stand him. But then a friend of mine gave me this as a birthday present, and I'm not hating it. It's a really cool colour!

 You can't tell me what to do! It's my lips and I make out if I want to!

First of, this colour is divine! That cool, weird, greyish purple. Yum.
Second, that doe foot is really easy to use. I do prefer a lip brush to get precise and sharp edges, but the doe foot works in a pinch
Third, the claim. "Our liquid lipstick goes on opaque, dries completely matte and stays on for hours!"
Mjeh. My friend, who is obsessed with the velour lipstick, was a bit disappointed by the forumula on this. It does go on opaque, after a whiiiile it dries down and becomes matte. But it takes a while. And it does not stay on for hours. Acutally, it doesnt stay on very well at all, for being a liquid matte lipstick. It works more like an ordinary lipstick in that sense. It transfers and smudges.

Lush Haul!

Damn you, Lush Kitchen. Damn you. You will steal all my money. And I dont have all that much!
A few years ago, I saw Vampy Varnish post about the Almond and Coconut Smoothie, and I needed it. But by then, it was no longer available in sweden nor the uk. I wrote to both uk and swedish Lush about it, but I was out of luck. It was no longer in their production.
And a few months ago, a friend of mine told me about Lush Kitchen.
And a few weeks ago, the Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie showed up in their Kitchen. And I pounced.
With a few other products.. I would have gone bananas, but you know.. Shit's expensive.

So here's my first Kitchen + Uk Lush order. I have another on the way, but thats another post.

First up:

Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie. 

What made me NEED this, is that I looooove their smoothies. They make you super soft, smell awesome and they are perfect for lazy people like me who cant be bother with lotions.

And that I love almonds, coconut and jasmin. 

The thing is though, I dont like the scent of vanilla. And this smells mostly like vanilla. 

But at least it's an earty and nutty vanilla scent, so its all good. I still like this, even though it doesnt smell exactly like I wanted it to.

Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair Shower Gel

I wasnt super excited about this, but since it contains my favorite scents, lavender and jasmin, and the fact that I am in love with Lushs shower gels, I threw this in the basket to. (And since I got dumped recently, the name called out to me too, huehuehue)

Fig and guava juice, with lavender, jasmin, ylang ylang and and rose petals, makes an ... unusual scent. Kind of fresh and uplifting, but at the same time all flowery and ... nice! Its more of an unisex scent, than a flowery sweet "womanly" (gaging at that word) scent. 

I really do like it! The colour is stunning too. Great for hot summer days. And some one actually told me I smelled awesome, and that it kind of smelled like Karma, but not really. I dont know how Karma smells, but my thumbs are up!

Twilight Bath bomb
To most lushies, this bath bomb isn't news. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Twilight Shower Gel. It's my all time favorit scent. And since I have a bath tub at my new place, this bath bomb was a must have.
It smells just like the shower gel. Lavender, heavy and sweet.
But I havent tried it yet. My bathroom smells so amazing with this bomb just waiting for a bath, so I havent dared to use it. Haha.
But pictures have told me that it looks beautiful in the bath. All pink to blue to purple and .. Yes.
Cant wait. I need to always are two in my home, one for a bath, and the second to always smell that awesome Twilight scent.

Swatch: Melt Cosmetics Love Sick Eyeshadow Stack

My pictures are horrible, I've tried to retake them multiple times but shit aint working. So.. this is it.
Melt Cosmetics Love Sick.
Been drooling over it since it came out, and when they had that valentine sale with 30% off, I jumped on it. And I aint sorry. And of course I poked my grabby little fingers in the eyeshadows before I took photos. I really couldnt help my self!

 Urgh the Amelie-swatch is just horrid.. Could not get any good pictures of this shadow. It's beautiful tho. Like really, I didnt think I would use this color because it aint the sort of color I usually reach for, But I have been using this in everyday fast makeups. A couple of times, and loved it. As you can see, it's as good with or without primer.

I did think that Promiscuous would be a more .. purple color. Its a red based purple with more of a blurple sheen. Cool color, very nifty when used over other bases or blended. With no base it's quite.. meh. A more sticky base would bring out more of that in the pan-purple.

Fixated is just what it looks like. A blue toned dark gray color. Great formula. Just like the Space Cake lipstick. Nothing to complain about, nothing to get super excited about.

Love Sick.... Sigh... Its just.. so.. pretty. Its the color that I wanted MUGs Bitten to be. No base it's a bit meh but workable, but on primer it's basically the perfekt dark red. Love it! Easy to blend to.

For the stack itself.. I love the idea of it. Not so sure about the practial aspect of it tho. It is sturdy, but the plastic feels kind of cheap some how. The eyeshadows kind of stick to the coating of the plastic, as do fingerprints, and makes the pans look dirty. As you actually can se on the pictures.

Review: Nyx Matte Liquid Liner

I just have to start this post with saying that I frekking love this liner.
Srsly.  This is me. And I have owned this eyeliner for about..  10 hours now? LOVE. IT.
Oh yeah, the review part.

May I present to you, NYX Matte Liquid Liner.

This eyeliner combines the best parts of my two previous favorites, the Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner and The Balm Schwing Eyeliner.

Its super matte and super dark, like Schwing, but is much more water resistans, like the UD one. Plus, it has the same brush applicator as UD, which I love!

Actually, in my review of the Schwing Eyeliner, I wrote "I do wish that UD would realese a matte version though"
THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE MATTE VERSION OF UDS LIQUID LINER. IM SO FREKKING EXCITED. 
Can you tell?!
As for the staying power.. I have oily lids, and teary eyes. Today I have worn the eyeliner all day, and actually took a nap too. Its still perfect. It hasn't transfered, it hasn't smudged. No flaking. It is ON THERE. FLEEK. UGH.
I thought that my only complaint was that is was TOO hard to remove, because I used an oiled based makeup remover on the swatch and I had to really RUB it off. But with my usual face wash (African Black Soap), it was no problem. 
Sooo.. Yeah. I recommend this eyeliner.

Swatch: Technic - Brights Eyeshadows

My mom found this in a swedish store, and the price was like.. nothing. 

The packaging is a bit cheap and plastic, but the shadows are really pigmented! All though, with cheap products of course they aren't perfect. They are a bit powdery and causes some fall out, but they are still very good! I mean, look at that purple?! It is so intense!

I'll to do a look with this palette now that spring is right around the corner. 

Swatch: Violet Voss Glitters - Unicorn Party & Goldie

So I've been drooling over Violet Voss-glitters for quite some while, but their international shipping cost was nothing I actually wanted to deal with..
Then I saw that cocktailscosmetics.co.uk sells some VV-stuff and I went bananas. With omg TWO glitters!! Tbh I couldnt really afford more, and there where so many to choose from. I also wanted to try out the VV Secret Weapon adhesive, since it claims to be the best glitter adhesive.
A quick google search told me that there isn't that much of a difference between the VV Secret Weapon and Fyrinnaes Pixie Epoxy, and since I own the PE I decided to skip out on the VV one for now. And omg how hard is it to actually take decent pictures of glitter?!

Goldie is the tiniest size, and looks kind of like a chunky loose shadow because the sparkles are so fine and tiny tiny. A more "sophisticated" glitter, if you may.  This is has mostley a soft gold and some silver it, aand some awesome rainbow bits. I real like wearing this glitter on an everyday bacis! Love it!
