Woow. Nine months of silence. You might think that I would just declare this blog dead, right? Maybe. Maybe not. I dont really know. Is anybody out there? Hi?
Its been a few weeks since I did this makeup so m not reallt sure what I used.
The lid colours are most definitely Makeup Geek Loose Pigment in Chameleon and Urban Decay Electric palette in Chaos.

Woah, a post! 4 reals!
Life's been hectic the last couple of weeks. Started an "internship" at a alternative store, so I can put whatever makeup I want on my face. Which is nice. What's not nice is that when I finally do more interesting looks, I rarely have time to take pictures. And the lighting situation in the store is weird so I can't take pictures there either.
But the other day I kind of made a "flash softener" to have over a very bright light where I do my makeup. The results when taking pictures aren't perfect, but better than before when I couldn't take pictures at all.
Either way, babbeling. I had some extra time one morning to try this new "photo station" out. Also, I loved that makeup. And love that shadow. YUM. Wish I worn lashes tho.

Found this on my camera and have like.. no idea what it is. Cant really remember when or why I painted? Its nothing special, but its something. My brows look nice tho! Or ok, one of them does.

Skin is quite edited. Every single flaw was highlighted because of weird lighting. Sigh.

Swatch: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick - Scorpio

Before I start, yes yes I know about the whole Jeffree Star scandal that exploded recently. I have chosen to stay away from his brand before, because I can't really stand him. But then a friend of mine gave me this as a birthday present, and I'm not hating it. It's a really cool colour!

 You can't tell me what to do! It's my lips and I make out if I want to!

First of, this colour is divine! That cool, weird, greyish purple. Yum.
Second, that doe foot is really easy to use. I do prefer a lip brush to get precise and sharp edges, but the doe foot works in a pinch
Third, the claim. "Our liquid lipstick goes on opaque, dries completely matte and stays on for hours!"
Mjeh. My friend, who is obsessed with the velour lipstick, was a bit disappointed by the forumula on this. It does go on opaque, after a whiiiile it dries down and becomes matte. But it takes a while. And it does not stay on for hours. Acutally, it doesnt stay on very well at all, for being a liquid matte lipstick. It works more like an ordinary lipstick in that sense. It transfers and smudges.

Swatch: Makeup Geek Duochrome Eyeshadows - Voltage, Blacklight, Secret Garden

Some of the duochrome shadows from MUG. The duochrome isnt really that strong, but I still think the shadows are beautiful. Aaand Im thinking of buying a few more. Of both pigments and shadows, of course. And I did use the shadows before taking photos. I couldnt not touch them, obviously

I took swatch pictures on different days, because I wasnt pleased with the first ones. Nor the second ones. So you get both.

The swatches are on no base, primer, white base and black base.

I really do enjoy these.. thick liners/winged eyeshadows sort of. It kinda works with the shape of my eyes, since I cant do regular thick, winged eyeliner on them.
So this is an attempt of a more.. "neutral"look. Exept that I had to throw in some color. And weird lips/brows.
I wish I had taken some pictures without the blue lips, but the battery died.
Also, I have totally forgotten most of the products that I used.
The brown on the lid is definitely Brokedown from Urban Decay Vice 3. Black is Bulletproof from Sugarpill. Greenish is Thrash from Urban Decay Electric, with some yellow shadow from Inglot.
Brows are Stargazer Semi Permanent Eyeliner pen in Blue, with La Splash Smitten Lip Tint in Nagini/Komodo, with some Thrash thrown in.
Lashes are two pairs of ?? stuck togheter.
Lips are the eyeliner pen, Melt Cosmetics lipstick in DGAF and Thrash-eyeshadow.
